Port of Vancouver drayage

Drayage dispatch software for Port of Vancouver carriers.

Dispatch Board is Canadian-owned and built in Canada. It runs your container moves, drivers’ phones and billing for Centerm, Vanterm, Deltaport and Fraser Surrey Docks, and keeps BC rules in the same place as dispatch.

Set up for the Lower Mainland

The port is on the board from day one.

Terminals, gate hours, port licences and incoming ships sit in the same place your dispatchers already work, so a truck isn’t sent to a shut gate or with an expired tag.

Terminals

Centerm, Vanterm, Deltaport and Fraser Surrey Docks

The Vancouver terminals come preloaded as a starting list, with zones for Vancouver, Delta, Surrey, Richmond and the rest of the Lower Mainland. Enter each terminal’s gate hours and closures, and Plan day flags any move timed outside them.

Licences

TLS tags and port credentials

Each truck carries its TLS tag and expiry beside registration and insurance. Drivers carry their port access credential and their class under the Act, so an expired licence shows up before the driver is sent.

Vessels

Ships coming into Vancouver

Watch the port by its code, CAVAN, and see on each load how far off the ship still is, its speed and its arrival. Vessel tracking uses your own AIS provider key, such as VesselFinder.

BC Container Trucking Act

Check driver pay against the Act every pay period.

The BC port compliance add-on keeps the rate order in the board, runs a pay check each period against what you actually paid, and prepares a file for the Commissioner. It starts from the published 1 July 2026 figures, so confirm them against the current order. It costs $79 a month on any plan.

Canadian by default

Canadian dollars, Canadian taxes, kilometres.

  • Prices in Canadian dollars, with USD available for cross-border work
  • GST and PST on invoices, and HST or QST when you haul outside BC
  • Kilometres or miles
  • Terms under British Columbia law

Money at the port

Per diem, chassis and waiting time, with the evidence.

Each charged per diem day gets a reason, such as a terminal closure, a hold or a late customer delivery, so you rebill the customer or dispute the line. Chassis bills are checked against when your loads actually had the chassis, and terminal waiting time is tracked per load.

Not included: automatic appointment booking in the GCT or DP World terminal systems. You can set appointment rules and slot capacity and use booking links.
